Medicare for All would cut taxes for most Americans

Supporters of Medicare for All are right. Funding universal health insurance through taxes would lead to a large tax cut for the vast majority of workers. It would abolish the huge poll tax they currently shoulder, and the data show that for most workers, it would lead to the biggest take-home pay raise in a generation.
How could anyone be against it?

In the US only the rich count, and the poor are too dumb to realize they spend their life contributing to the pleasures of the rich. In France that led to the French Revolution, in 1789. In the US it doesn't stop Trump becoming President... Will Americans ever wake up and put an end to their serfdom?...

We serfs (usually referred to here as "deplorables") in America are pleased to acknowledge the elite swamp-dwellers demands to have the shit taxed out of us. Of course, we can count on The Guardian to have America's best interests at heart.

According to the authors, private health care cover is costing Americans plenty as it is and to substitute Medicare for all would cost considerably less and provide better health cover.

A lesser tax that eliminates a higher private cost makes a lot of sense to me. It results in a universal net improvement in average incomes without the need for a costly all round wage increase.

Hey we get health care that costs 25% of wages per the average person and the left wants to replace it with a government run system that will only cost 48% of the average wage to pay for it. What an incredible deal !!!
