Midterms

Post by Mr. Perfect » Fri Nov 02, 2018 2:01 pm

I've looked at things from all angles, and it's very hard for me to against polls, even though they have been horribly wrong for a few cycles.

I'm open to the polls being wrong, but if the below is true then the GOP could run the tables.

I pray it is so.

I will also add that in my lifetime the establishment has only ever called a Republican win correctly twice, 1984 and 2010.

All the others have been "surprises".

I hope you are right, Mr P. But don't get too optimistic. There are several reasons:

1)The Democrats might show up to vote on Election day.
2)Republicans may be voting early instead of Election day.
3)There are more Democrats than Republicans. So a two percent advantage on Oct 31 does not mean a majority.
4)We don't know which way Independents will break.

I think Republicans should run on the economy. That's their strong suit.

By the way, I am all excited by the midterm elections. I even bought a MAGA hat even though I can't vote.

Great idea!... The greater America becomes, the more insignificant you become... Does serfdom attract you?...

That should tell you more about the people who are "predicting" those things than the results.

Yes indeed. The latest conspiracy theory of the left isn't Russia collusion it is that devil don is trying to lose the house to help his 2020 POTUS bid.

"Could losing the House actually help Trump in 2020?"

And they my even be right. As the old saying goes: The socialists will sell us the rope to hang them with."
