We're approaching the Nobel season, and look forward to reading about the winners in the sciences and in literature. Contrarily, we are apprehensive re the Peace Prize. Why?
1. Previous winners include Yasser Arafat and Barack Obama.
2. Mahatma Gandhi and Vaclav Havel never received the award.

While I don't think much of the Nobel Peace Prize considering some of its inappropriate recipients (Kissinger?
