Europeans have a long past history of being ruthless. Modern Europe's apparent inability to act resolutely represents an immense recoil against the horrible excesses of the past.

If you yourselves lived in a life threatening situation in the midst of civil war, would you not want to flee to somewhere more peaceful?

One or two murders proves nothing even if they help serve to stigmatize the group by its enemies and detractors.Doc wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 2:56 pmhttps://metro.co.uk/2019/07/31/man-push ... -10494467/Man ‘who pushed boy, 8, under train’ was used in campaign to promote integration

In your country you do not need to be a Muslim refugee to be a mass murderer:

First that is home grown and not from refugees

Second it was in a leftist area and the shooter was from a leftist family.
Otherwise these school shootings generally have things in common like psychiatric drugs and bullying.

No but they have experts and the politicians usually democratic ones anyway got to positions of authority by understanding how people think.

What's the difference? Murder is still murder.

Europeans easily accept diversity, but I doubt we will allow that diversity to turn against our own culture and traditions. People who reject our society will eventually be expelled. I have no doubt that such deportations will be supported by the vast majority of Europeans. On the other hand, those immigrants who truly want to become part of the European society should be welcome and treated fairly.

If Herr Spengler was to comment here, he would argue that much of European culture is doomed. He would especially cite Germany and the UK. For all civilized folks who value European culture, we hope you are correct and Spengler wrong.Sertorio wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 2:59 amEuropeans easily accept diversity, but I doubt we will allow that diversity to turn against our own culture and traditions. Spengler is resentful of Europe because of the Europeans' passivity in respect of the holocaust. I can understand that, but the holocaust is no more representative of Europe than the Inquisition was. We must have the humility to understand that those horrendous manifestations of violence are part of our heritage, but they do not represent us, as a whole. And that's why we try to handle the immigration issue in a more humane manner, but I am afraid that is not realistic. Sooner or later we will have to expel those who want to destroy us.Jim the Moron wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 3:32 amIf Herr Spengler was to comment here, he would argue that much of European culture is doomed.
