The Notorious RBG

Post by Jim the Moron » Sun Sep 01, 2019 7:38 am

The vultures have been hovering over SCOTUS in anticipation of the demise of Justice Ginsburg. Sorry birdies, but she's not ready to go.

The late Justice Scalia, a close friend of RBG, once said something along the lines that the political ideologies of justices is much less important than whether they are smart. There is a long history of justices going against the grain.

RGB is a tough old bird who loves her job more than playing with her grandchildren. Her only pleasure at this stage is to make conservatives wait. That’s what is keeping her alive.

I think I mentioned before that Canada instituted mandatory retirement for our SCJ's at 75, thus sparing us this sort of ghoulish spectacle.

Ideology be damned. RBG continues to be smarter than 99.9% of Americans (and Canadians). Ghoulish? Leave my girl alone.
