DeSantis Issues Most Blistering Takedown Yet Of US Role In Ukraine "Territorial Dispute"
by Tyler Durden - WEDNESDAY, MAR 15, 2023 - 02:50 AM
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/des ... al-dispute

At a moment Western officials and even some mainstream media are beginning to express doubt over Ukraine's ability to push Russian forces back, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who will likely enter the race for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, has issued his sharpest criticisms yet of America's role in the Ukraine war, calling it fundamentally a "territorial dispute" which the US should stay out of.
Letme see. :? :?:

I know!

DeSantis is trying to outflank Trump in his bid for the nomination as Republican Party candidate for the 2024 election? :)
When people don't think like you, must they have some obscure objective?...
Not only is that not obscure, it's obvious to anyone who understands the first thing about US politics.

"Trying to outflank Trump in his bid for the nomination as Republican Party candidate for the 2024 election" would be the main reason for DeSantis to call "the Ukraine war fundamentally a "territorial dispute" which the US should stay out of"?... Couldn't DeSantis find any other issue closer to the American people's heart?...

If you weren't so far out of your depth, you'd know that it's far from the only issue he's talked about.

I didn't say it was. I was referring to the only quote posted by neverfail:
At a moment Western officials and even some mainstream media are beginning to express doubt over Ukraine's ability to push Russian forces back, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who will likely enter the race for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, has issued his sharpest criticisms yet of America's role in the Ukraine war, calling it fundamentally a "territorial dispute" which the US should stay out of.
Now, what about that need of yours for new spectacles which I mentioned elsewhere?...

The implication is the same, whether it's DeSantis or Neverfail quoting him.

Steve, in your humble opinion was my remark about DeSantos' alleged ploy true or untrue?

American politicans, like those of other nationalities, are prone to bullshit on for the sake of getting public opinion (or support within their own parties) on side and/or to acheive other political goals normally obscure to we who are not within their esoteric profession.

None of which proves that DeSantis was wrong when condemning America's intervention in the Ukraine war.

Neverfail seems to be strongly pro interventionist in the case of Ukraine but not Taiwan. He is fully supportive of sending weapons to Ukraine and also Europe beefing up its armed forces but not the Australian armed forces.
The Imp :D
