1)U You were wrong about Socialism. Socialism causes poverty and often dictatorships. That's the truth but you can't see that.

2)You were wrong about Putin, a visious dictator. You think he is a great guy.

3)You were wrong about the US, a generally benign country that has done the world a lot of good. You think it is evil.
1. Socialism has many forms and only the most extreme may be considered failures. But then it all depends on what you consider a failure. If you take Cuba, for instance, the relatively low income of the people is more than compensated by the quality and universality of the education and health services. I know you don't give a damn about the poor sector of the population, but the poor themselves will prefer good and free education for their children and good and free health care than more money to spend in consuming fantasies.

2. Putin is not a vicious dictator. In fact he is neither vicious nor a dictator. He is authoritarian, but the overwhelming majority of the Russian people can do whatever they want, without restrictions. And as to being vicious, he would never treat anybody the way the US and the UK have treated Assange.

3. You cannot call benign a country which has started uncounted wars since 1945, which has killed millions of people in those wars, who regularly uses torture and extra-judicial killings, which has exploited millions of people throughout the world, which supports dictators to serve the American economic interests...

Your choice of opinions of mine which you consider wrong shows how little support your statement has...

We all know that left wing positions which Sertorio proudly holds are much like a religion. People who believe them cannot be confused by mere facts. I've noticed that since Putin invaded the Ukraine, Sertorio has posted with unparalleled gusto pro Putin and pro China positions. He truly believes and his is an immutable belief, no persuasive arguments or facts will change his mind.
I'd rather be diving or flying alas for now I am on terra firma.

You are entitled to your opinions, no matter how wrong they may be. But it would have been better to tell us what you think is wrong in the positions I held above. And I have said time and time again that what I most like in China and Russia is the fact that they are about to destroy the US tyranny. I wouldn't much care about living in either of those countries, although it couldn't be worse than living in the US...
