What evidence do you have of:
1. There are 1 million Muslims in prison;
2. They have been put in prison in order to force them to change their religion.
Lie down on that couch and read the proof here.
ABSOLUTELY
The CCP is a fascist organization
To me they don't seem any more thuggish than some of the better known American politicians.
Sertorio is psycologically incapable of believing unpleasant truths, Doc. He is much like a doting mother of a teen who stole something. The doting mother cannot believe her son is a thief because it is too emotionally painful. But believing that Russia and China and other Socialist nations are the 'bad guys" and the US is the 'good guy' are somehow too painful for him to accept.
I answered on the same thread...
I guess you are the one who needs shrink attention...cassowary wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 1:20 am
No matter what proof you give of Chinese atrocities in Xingjiang and elsewhere, he cannot believe it. Sertorio also appears to believe that the US is an imperalist power - which was standard USSR and Chinese propaganda during the Cold War. That is upside down to the truth - that the US was trying to protect the free world from totalitarian powers. But to acknkowledge the truth is too painful for him to accept - for some reason.
Here are some of my guesses of what that reason may be -
1)He mispent his youth in Commie activities to the detriment of his studies and career when he could have been making lots of $$$ like his friends. Now he can't bring himself to believe that he wasted his life and so cling to beliefs that the rest of the world knows are untrue.
2)His career or business ended in failure and resents those more successful and richer. Thus he finds Sociaist ideas attractive. It explains away his failure by blaming it on an unjust capitalist system which America is the prime example.
3)He had an American step dad who married his divorced mom when he was very young and he resented this stranger in his house. Later, he believed communist propaganda trying to undermine NATO by calling for US withdrawal from Europe, drawing an unconscious parallel with his unwanted step-dad.
When people cling to nonsensical beliefs despite proof to the contrary, there must be a pain point somewhere.
As a matter of fact, I do occasionally consult a shrink. Try it.Sertorio wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 1:57 amI guess you are the one who needs shrink attention...cassowary wrote: ↑Sat Feb 13, 2021 1:20 am

Confuscianism is in the blood of all Chinese, even those in Singapore. I live with my wife, kids and my aged mother. That’s Confucianism in action. No need to study.
