Spanish Regional Elections

While in Galicia the separatist BNG has now 25% of the seats in the local parliament, in the Basque Country the nationalists (whether openly separatist or not) have now over 75% of the seats. An increase for the nationalists in both regions. Together with Catalonia, this trend may indicate a future victory of separatism in Spain. Which, in my opinion, it's a good thing.

Canadians know that lots of people may get a cheap thrill from voting for a separatist party but that doesn't necessarily translate into a vote for separation.

Still, what's different here is Catalonia at least can support itself, unlike Quebec.
