That is also true of American arrogant projection of power abroad. Why do people only look at China and not to the US?
It depends on which of the two you find the greater threat.
As far as I am concerned, in my country, Trump's decisions can get me killed, but I doubt Xi could do anything that would hurt me. So, the greater threat is definitely the US...
