There's nothing to prove this has anything to do with the US government.

You must be kidding! Juan Guaido was an American invention afterwards imposed on the usual idiots in Europe. Who else could be behind this attempt by Guaido?...

I do not know too much about Juan Guaidó and care little about that part of the world in any case. But if he ever succeeds in him ambition to replace Maduro I would not envy him the task of having to rebuild his country virtually from stratch.

Rebuilding Venezuela has much to do with US sanctions, which helped to destroy it. As to Guaido having the will or the ability to care about the poor in Venezuela, just forget it. He is supported by the rich and his duty is to the rich. Will we ever learn what the history of Latin America is all about?

I guess I am capable of understanding Latin America a lot better than you. Guaido is a crook, as much as Bautista was a crook in Cuba, and the results would be the same. But as long as the US benefits, who cares?...

Venezuela's problem is gross mismanagement and socialist corruption. For Chavez's daughter is purportedly the richest woman in South American. Pretty good for the daughter of a socialist.

I don't know whether Chavez daughter is corrupt, but I do know that poverty in Venezuela sharply decreased during Chavez rule. Had he not died and I believe that Venezuela would not be in such a bad situation. Unfortunately Maduro doesn't have 10% of Chavez capacity to rule. But even so the number of people supporting Maduro is much greater than those opposing him.

Chavez' daughter might not herself be corrupt . What Doc seems to be suggesting is that her old man did not mind sticking his fingers in the till to provide for her after he was gone.
