Your admiration for communism knows no bounds.
What has communism to do with antiviral production?

You search very hard to find something nice to say about Commie Cuba.

Would you refuse to take an effective medicine just because it was made in a communist country?...

I do unfortunately, from China... so do many of you if you take blood pressure meds or antibiotics and many more.

Would prefer it to be locally sourced as with almost everything else.

Quality, not origin, should be our concern. And price, which will certainly be lower for products made in China...

Security is another concern. If that country is hostile, then it would be foolish to become overly dependent.

Singapore has expensive desalination plants even though we have a contract to purchase cheap water from Malaysia river through a pipeline.

Japan places a tariffs on foodstuffs because it is worried about supply in the event of a war where the sea routes are blocked. Even Singapore is planning to be 30% self sufficient in food by 2030 despite very expensive land.

It is difficult for certain smaller nations to be self-sufficient in food. Some so far have made up with their valuable technological stock-in-trade. Think Singapore and Israel. And both countries are no doubt aware that the US stands ready to bring in agricultural products in support.

A readiness which has a price: complete surrender to US will and policies. I would prefer to import from Canada or Russia...

Isn't a standard Malaria drug effective against Nineteen? Dennis Prager got wind of this on his radio show and worked himself into such a snit I've never heard before. Hasn't Australia found a cure for Covid-19???.......
