Here's something off-the-wall. Perhaps the only person out there who could possibly beat Trump in 2020 is Senator Duckworth - the closest America has to Scoop Jackson now - and evolving.
You mentioned her twice. Are you a fan?
Yes.
Interesting. What do you like about her?

(That's not a challenge, BTW. I really don't know that much about her, other than that she had a baby, which isn't exactly a policy position.)

I see that she was born overseas, anyone seen her birth certificate? (You know it's coming.)

OK, I bit. And I'm glad I did. An absolutely fascinating Wiki piece - "Natural born citizen clause" -

What do I like about her? Mostly, her politics (remind me of Scoop Jackson) and her integrity. She has recently expressed dismay over the radical left takeover of the Democratic party. Ben kon Thai duwae. Some earlier comments:

The worst case is they get a civil war.

312,000 jobs created in December

Best manufacturing job gain in 20 years

Hispanic employment best ever

Why would anyone in his right mind want to impeach Trump?
Because he's a traitor and a crook and correlation is not causation.

Not true. He did not collude with Russia if that’s what you mean. His policies revived a slowing economy inherited from oBUMa.

When the US economy lapses into recession later this year, will you still attempt to sustain the same assertion based as it seems to be on transitory, will-of-the wisp information; or will you concoct some lame excuse to exonerate Trump from all blame ?

For breaking the law, yes, definitely. For improper conduct while in office, yes.

That the state of the US economy might have coincidentally improved during his current 2 year long watch is beside the point.

Recessions are part of the business cycle, Neverfail. The economy has been expanding for nearly 10 years. By the end of oBUMa's term, economy was already slowing down and a recession was in the cards. But Trump's policies prolonged it by two years.
