US Attorney General Jeff Sessions has been fired by President Donald Trump.

Technically he was asked to resign, and he did before he was fired. But not to worry Milo I have it on "good authority from many people on Twitter that since the Democrats won the house that Trump will be removed from office. You should be very happy.

He won't be and I am happy for many reasons other than that.

It's a lovely day because the next Attorney General will be someone that behaves like Trump's personal attorney? Jeff Sessions wasn't exactly a closet Democrat, if he was concerned enough to recuse himself, so should we all be.

I did. Just because you limit yourself to cheering for one team and booing the other team doesn't mean everyone does.

I think it was and even today is a lovely day. AG traditionally have acted like the friend of the POTUS. However we are talking about an acting AG appointed while the senate is not in session that has already been confirmed as a federal prosecutor by the Senate. There by conforming to the law tradition and the constitution. Mueller's report will be turned over to congress shortly and it will probably never be made public though I expect highly selective leaks by Adam Schiff during his bathroom breaks.

What I do expect from Whitaker is serious investigations started or continued over

Dossiergate
HIllary's email servergate
Debbie Wasserman Shultzgate
Benghazi
Fast and furious
FISAgate (Actually wanting FISA ended)

None of which has anything to do with Whitaker behaving like Trump's personal attorney

Only the most grossly partisan hack would use the power of DoJ exclusively to investigate the other party, and I'm disappointed if that's what you truly want.
