United Nations Passes Resolution to Stop US Economic Blockade of Cuba

Maybe all countries voting in favour should consider a total economic boycott of the US...

US foreign policy or does this reflect more on the current state of their political economy?

We are hearing of an ongoing assault by barbarians on the US embassy in Iraq. There were the takeovers of the embassy in Iran and a consulate in Libya by Muslim savages. When is the US going to realize that Islamic societies don't feel bound by traditional diplomatic norms? Get out of there.

Probably the "Muslim savages" were responding to the bombing of Iraq by the "American savages", in violation of traditional international norms... But I agree with your sound advice: "Get out of there"...

I see it as a 3-step process:

1. Get all non-Muslim civilians out of Islamic lands.

2. In the instance of the US, remove all ground forces after willing civilians get out.

3. Never interject US ground forces into Islamic lands.

The killing of Gen. Suleimani may make things a lot more complicated. Strategically, the killing of Suleimani is meaningless, and tactically it will mean more attacks on the US forces and on innocent American civilians everywhere in the world. A stupid move, although it may give Trump some satisfaction. Putin would never do something so idiotic.
