Christmas together

The Yellow Jackets make a racket? They are already discussing "Act 5", presumably for next Saturday. This is going to be long ... This at one of their blocking points somewhere in the country: " My apologies to riot police and law enforcement We're going to spend Christmas together " ht...

Allahu akbar!...
Sertorio, I seem to remember you stated before that you were an Atheist, and even if you were a believer, I would have trouble imagine you being brought to the warlike version of Islam.

Example of Yellow Jackets propaganda

Here is an example of what Yellow Jackets exchange on social media:

"On December 8th
Everybody in Paris for the
Final Storm
against Macron
Share it!"

Alexis, what has Macron done to invite such widespread public unpopularity?
Neverfail, I can't leave you without this analysis, much more informed than what a mere Frenchman like me can manage.

It's from Fox News.

Why Macron is disliked, sometimes even hated

Alexis, what has Macron done to invite such widespread public unpopularity? Answering that question is delicate, because it's all too easy to project one's own opinions rather to try to assess those of the majority. A bit of context first - Macron is the 3rd president here whose popularity took a s...

A quiet sleepy provincial town welcomes Macron

What the French protesters really want: Funny, but this Trump impersonation - which happened only once because of some joker, no other example has been reported - was at the same time chanted and, more strongly, booed. While many other people just laughed at what was... well, a joke . :) Recent pol...

"France is deeply fractured. Gilets jaunes are just a symptom"

This analysis translated to English for Britain's Guardian is from Christophe Guilluy, geograph and author of "Peripheral France" in 2014, who is widely regarded as a prophetic work on the grounds of Gilets jaunes protests. From the 1980s onwards, it was clear there was a price to be paid for weste...

Almohads were the ISIS of their time

I tend to think of Berbers as our cousins (at least as far as the Iberian Peninsula is concerned). I would gladly accept them in "my" Europe... All human beings are cousins to some degree :D Regarding the Almohads, I'm not sure they are a very good example of international and pan-human brotherhood...
