I doubt those millions killed by Stalin would now be of much help in child-bearing...
But they still have an impact. Because they did not have children, the children they did not have did not have children. So Stalin is partly to blame. Hitler too for starting the war.

Re: Why Russia is shrinking

An interesting video Cass and thanks. I am not arguing against the case put forth either. Instead my complaint is that the case put forth is incomplete. The wartime losses were horrendous. Yet even before the War millions had already perished as a consequence of Stalin's policies and more still mil...

Re: Democrats have pity on Trump?

Trump devotees (the sort of hopeless cases who routinely mistake him for Christ in His second coming) should be very grateful to Nancy Pelosi for persuading her fellow-Democrats that there is nothing for them to gain by initiating impeachment proceedings against Trump at this point. Still, to go by...

Re: cassowary like dinosaur discovered in China

I prefer the first possibility because it would be an amazing coincidence if two different species evolved to look so much alike. The simpler explanation is that not all large dinosaurs died. The Corythoraptor Jacobski survived. It lost its tail and became the cassowary. Isn't this more likely than...

Re: Cassowary kills Florida man

Those talons also make them the most dangerous birds in the world. While cassowaries — who are native to the rainforests of Australia and New Zealand — Umm doc, you seem to have picked up a bit of disinformation here. Cassowaries are NOT native to New Zealand at all. That's true, Neverfail. However...
