For your consideration: Suggestions

Post by Booklady » Tue Dec 20, 2016 4:22 pm

1. May we please have at least one hour to review our post, or delete our post if we notice it's in the wrong thread?

2. Is it possible to have a Coffee House Board, where we could josh around in tinfoil hats? A Garden for us to share the best way to grow worms for our compost heap? A place to post pictures of our favorite cats and dogs, and politicians? Or should we use Foo for that?
A saucer of cream will do for me, thank you for your kindness.

An hour is rather long. Why would it take longer than ten minutes? Sooner or later, you said what you said....

It is now 45 minutes, and one hour would be even better. It does no harm in any way to be able to correct typos or polish sentences and that often requires time to see/think of.

I use lots of formatting on occasion, and there are often little errors that it is nice to have time to notice and correct, getting everything just perfect. And I often use edit time to add new items to my last post, instead of writing a new one.

There's only one type of circumstance you'd wish nothing could be edited: If you're in a heated, vicious argument with someone, and to your delight they post something jaw-droppingly stupid...

That's when it's good to make a quote of it IMMEDIATELY.

;)

...

I see that our 'newest' member is quite familiar.

Don't wish to see any more of that. Off him, please.
