On the origin of biological life

Post by dagbay » Sun Nov 26, 2017 3:35 am

An interesting summary of the current status of our understending (rather lack of understanding) of the origin of life presented at http://www.americanthinker.com/articles ... _life.html

I started pondering an interesting corollary of this argument. iContemplating the possibility of spontaneous formation of Artificial intelligence. Unlike biological life, artificial intelligence (at its current state) is at our fingertips. We know how to design computing machines with sensors and how to program them to mmic basic reasoning. Shouldn't nature in that vast universe have randomly done the same? Since it is so simple shouldn't there be countless examples created spontaneously in the huge random experiment.
I'd rather be diving or flying alas for now I am on terra firma.
