Recognition of this state of being separates late modernism not only from our hagiographic religious past, but also from earlier modernism, humanism and the enlightenment. Neither makes sense to us, and a commitment to either requires uncommon effort foreign to the idea of a natural revelation. One that comes to us organically because it completes us. It's either be a soldier or a slave. Being a beloved member of an encompassing, loving family seems currently not available to us.......
Let's try this modelling exercise. Let's envision a world in a parallel universe somewhere let's say, where I'm right.........
