Being "invited back" to Saudi Arabia for the Trump women won't be an issue, considering what "Arab News" had to say:

"US First Lady Melania Trump praised for 'elegantly respectful' KSA look"

We look forward to your fashion commentary after each stop on the President's journey.

Thanks for the link Milo.

Hahaha.

I see Podesta is a sore loser, blaming the Russians for Clinton's loss.

But more disturbingly, he is advocating censorship. I always knew the left has a totalitarian streak.

Ignoring the standard Cassowary dig at the left (I have come to expect that from our Singapore sage   ): I agree that Clinton conducted an abysmal election campaign. The two most glaring shortcomings seem to have been:

1. she devoted too much energy and hot air telling her listeners why her adversary darn old Trump was unfit to be President whilst failing to clearly state the positive things that her presidency could offer the nation.

2. Especially remiss was her failure to connect up to the many underprivileged unemployed and underemployed Americans: especially the rust belt set where Trump found much support.

In the case of the first Hillary's sense of entitlement and lack of any real sense of mission might have got the better of her. She probably viewed the election campaign as a dreary ritual of American politics that she had to undertake to get to where she believed she belonged; in the Oval Office.

In the case of the second could you imagine a dominatrix sort of woman like Hillary is reputed to be readily identifying with the plight of "LOSERS"? Perish the thought!

Whilst Trump did not come up with a single proposal to alleviate American poverty that made any sense, at least the Trump campaign acknowledged that the underprivileged exist.

Hillary sympathizers would achieve a lot more were they to honestly analyze why Hillary lost and learn from the mistakes rather than spuriously try to deflect blame on to the Russians (or somebody else).

Cutting taxes and deregulation will create jobs and alleviate poverty. This is the correct way to alleviate poverty. The left has got it wrong. They think taxing the rich and giving the money to the poor will alleviate poverty. It will instead create more poverty as it will chase jobs away to low tax countries like you-know-where.

I think his veracity is your problem here.

The problem is that taxing the rich and giving the money to the poor is still a temporary solution to the problems of the poor. When taxes become unreasonable, the wealthy can easily leave, and do, look at New York and California for example, and where does that leave the poor? Usually in a worse situation because the solutions to their condition have not been addressed.
