I would do the same if anyone put the flag of Iran on a floor, as I have no quarrel with the people of Iran and I do not give the U.S. government (or any other) the power to tell me who my enemies are.

Sadegh Zibakalam ..

The Most Dangerous Man in Iran

Sadegh Zibakalam:
Anti-Americanism at a 'dead end' in Iran

Haaretz :
No One Appointed Iran to Destroy Israel, Says Iranian Professor

Zibakalam is top Iranian Professor of Political science, in top Iranian university .. 80% of Iranian students follow his leadership .. The Ayatollahs (and the security apparatus) are his biggest backers.

He will criticize the Mullahs like nobody in entire Iran can .. every other day, he has town-meetings with Iranian students all over Iranian universities and TV debates directly with Ayatollahs.

He is "protected" by establishment.

In recent interview on TV, he was asked why he is not arrested when others go to jail for much less ?

His answer was same answer he gave recently to "British Parliament"

He said, he wants and advocates "Change from within the system" and not revolt.

He said, if Iran falls into another violent revolt, Syria and Iraq would look like a PICNIC .. that is why all Iranians backing him

He is now the superstar in Iran .. many uTube clips, but most in Farsi (some in english as he did his studies in UK and fluent in English).

Age of consent is different in different culture and nations

Looks like in Germany age of consent is 15 , in France seems to be 14, in Spain 13

In Nordic countries, girls routinely have sex with 14 and less

Now, there is debate in many western countries to lower the "age of consent".

Booklady , if you are interested in history of Islam and all the rest, always much better to research "reputable" sources and know what really went on beginning Moh's appearance in Arabia .. listening to biased "charlatans",
talking in dubious organizations for sure does not increase you knowledge about the Islam.

Nour Semaan is an Arab woman who caters to the "other side of the fence".

.

Brigitte Gabriel (Arabic: بريجيت غابرييل; born Hanan Qahwaji,[3] 21 October 1964) is a conservative American journalist, author, political lecturer, anti-Islamic activist, and founder of two non-profit political organizations, the American Congress For Truth and ACT ! for America.

She has given hundreds of lectures and frequently speaks at American conservative organizations such as The Heritage Foundation, Christians United for Israel, Evangelicals, and Jewish groups.

Her sometimes controversial statements include that Islam keeps countries backward and that it teaches terrorism

In short, I watched to the middle and not to end

I short .. she is right in some points , and wrong in many others .. yes, Moh copied all Jewish laws, including stoning for adulterer and multiple wife's (Jewish law) and many other juicy stuff.

Re "Jeza", tax paid by Jews , she is right , but does not mention that at same time Moh introducing that, they were killing the Jews in Europe and Russia .. re Islam conquering up to Vienna, this nothing to do with Islam, the Ottomans, Turks did that when at the same time they were fighting Persians

Re Islam keeps society backward, is rubbish .. science flourished in Islam golden age for 500s when Christian europe was pooing from balcony (no toilet in any European castle or palace (no toilet in Versailles))

Re 200 million killed by Muslims rubbish too, as in WW1 & 2 so many killed by europeans , 25 million Christian Russians and Ukrainian killed by Christian Germans and and .. last 500 yrs, Christian colonial powers have killed many 100s of millions in Africa, South East Asia , Christians were (and not Muslims) the biggest slave traders in history .. Not mUslims did genocide of Jews or wiped out South American population and and and

These people, Nour Semaan, are trash PR people .. I can post many people saying same to Christian or Jewish people and religion, but they rubbish

So, Booklady, if your intention is being educated about Islam or Judaism or Christianity or Persians , watch and read "high level" source, and do not waste your and reader's time.

Watching her talking same as the "other guy" watching "Al Qaida TV"

She illiterate preaching to illiterates

Azari,

The main trouble with Islam is its radical intolerance of other faiths (or lack of faith). People must be muslim or face death or financial extortion. Muslims who convert to other faiths are put to death. Some countries (Iran, Turkey) may be officially less brutal, but most of their people still want to erradicate any non-Muslims. You may say that Christians were not much better, but that was centuries ago. As we became more cultured and civilized we became more tolerant. Islam seems to still be very far from that turning point. And while Christendom always had its dissenters, Islam doesn't. Nobody in Muslim countries dares to preach tolerance and acceptance of other people's faiths. There are no reformers in Islam, only increasingly brutal fundamentalists. As such, it is indeed very difficult to accept a significant number of Muslim immigrants in our countries. They are a fifth column meaning to change us and our ways, by force if necessary. The only possible answer may have to be summary deportation.

This is actually a SMALL problem

Post by Alexis » Thu Feb 16, 2017 4:20 am

The main thing to understand is that this problem is not so large. Not nearly as large as many are taking it to be.

A) We are speaking of a political-religious ideology which aims at expanding a regime of sectarian domination on non-Muslims and women with large damage to human rights and readiness to large scale crimes to reach the ideology's objectives. This is an ideology which on intrinsic danger may be comparable to Nazism, and the term "Islamic Jihadist fascism" is basically correct.

We are however speaking of a very weak ideology :

- First only a minority of Muslims the world over are convinced, and only a small minority is convinced enough to act

- Second these radical Muslims are divided amongst themselves, the Sunni variety in particular against the Shia one

- Third and even more important Muslim countries are generally weak, and the less weak among them... are also the less extremist. Only exception to that rule is Saudi Arabia, however SA is utterly dependent on USA for its security and for tolerance of its support to Islamic fascists. The day a US president is elected who is not ready to tolerate that any more (and no... it probably won't be Trump) is the day SA either stops its propping up Jihadism, or is broken

B) Speaking as a citizen of France, the Western country probably the most stricken by Jihadist ideology, I have to assess the threat as "low" to "very low", in historical terms that is compared to real crises of the past:

- While attempts to perform terrorist attacks are quite numerous, those who actually succeed to any degree are few, and deaths have been limited in the last two years to about 250. Anybody who has had even once a superficial look to an history book knows that this is a very low-level threat

- Success in Salafist propaganda has extended to the tens of thousands, that is less than 0.1% of the country's population. Even adding to that an unknown number of discreet (very) sympathizers and somewhat-sympathizers, estimating 1% of the country's population as sympathetic to Jihadism would be a very pessimistic appraisal.
Now after WWII, more than 20% were Communists. This was not the present garden-variety Communists, which are no more than rather leftist individuals. These were people admirative of Stalin, who wanted to emulate him, who tried at least twice to take power (1944 and 1947), while some French poets with Communist sympathies (Aragon) praised the good men of the GPU and wanted a similar "Gulag" system at home...
We ran a very serious risk of Communist insurrection and switch to dictatorship back then. Today, with 1% at most of the population sympathetic to Jihadists, our risk is nil and even the risk of extended violence is low.

C) Now, what about the counters to such a threat? Well, they need to be proportionate to the threat... that is, not too costly, and as little disruptive as possible.
- We definitely need prohibition of Salafist ideology and a number of organizations devoted to its propagation
- We definitely need a national border - this point is important to EU countries, however not to the US who already have one
- We definitely need to refuse false refugees, that is people who are not endangered by persecution back home, but who merely want to improve their economic lot - very understandable, but we can't take them
- We may need to muscle intervention troops designed to help African allies dealing with larger Jihadist threats than us and not in a position to defend themselves totally independently

... And that's all!

- Police and intelligence services will obviously continue their work. Sometimes they will make an error - who doesn't? - and we'll have new deaths at terrorist hands, which is sad, but a fact of life.
- The 1% or less among us who are sympathetic to Jihadist cause will be slowly reintegrated into the national fold, which may need a generation, like for Communists two generations ago. Too bad, but manageable.
- We will continue to have relations with all countries, close relations with several Muslim-majority countries (for France especially Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Lebanon)
- We don't need to quarantine anybody
- We don't need to conspire to push anybody fighting anybody else

The Muslim world is presently experiencing a stark civilizational crisis. During some times, possibly several decades, it will probably remain troubled, in many places rather violent. Then, they will find solutions to being more peaceful... all the more so when the extremists are discredited since all they bring is destruction, while the non-extremist prosper.

In the meantime, react to that crisis - to the little echoes of that crisis that reach our shores - like we should, like some of the most powerful and prosperous countries in the world that we are.

Proportionately to the actual threat.

Yogi Adityanath: Uttar Pradesh chief minister choice criticised

India's governing party has chosen a controversial Hindu religious leader known for anti-Muslim rhetoric as the next chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, the country's most populous state.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-india-39316597

The problem apparently is Muslims don't like him. When did that become a standalone problem, for non-Muslims?
