Re: Glory hallelujah!

They both kill about the same number of people in the US each year. Roughly, although one should be careful of drawing conclusions from that, since it ignores (1) that the vast majority of gun-related deaths are suicides, and (2) that by far the most common use of guns in an interpersonal situation...

Re: October 1917 Revolution

While Jews are no longer in the business of fomenting revolutions nowadays, Jews are still left-wing. In the US, they support the Democratic Party. They are supporting some radical ideas. You say these things and to be honest sometimes I really have to wonder where you get this stuff. The U.S. has ...

During Bush II's administration, 911 happened. This led to war in Afghanistan. You can say he blundered into Iraq but Afghanistan was a necessary war.
No, it wasn't. Afghanistan offered to extradite Osama bin Ladin, and Bush refused.

Re: Can the US win a war against Russia?

Far too many Americans - including Trump - seem to believe that the US are so strong that they can get away with just about anything. Maybe Americans should be made aware of the fact that it isn't so, and that any miscalculation may end up in the actual destruction of the US as a functioning countr...

Virginia has 8.4 million people, that a few of them might be secret masters of the universe isn't a factor here. Deep State = Federal Work for...

Re: reverse side of the coin.

Guns are designed to kill and have no other use. Because they're designed to kill therefore they do have another use: as I literally just said, by far the most common use of guns in an interpersonal situation is not to be fired, but simply through its presence to deter prospective assailants. ..and...

Re: Bitcoin and crypto currencies

Very true - though it looks like its heading there, this site gives a good roundup of all prices: https://www.worldcoinindex.com/ Bitcoin Cash seems to be the winning horse at the moment, for no logical reason that I can see. Any ideas why? Opportunistic market manipulation in the wake of the demis...

Re: Bitcoin and crypto currencies

Depends on your strategy, long term or day trading, you can make good returns doing both. Bitcoin may come down off its highs now as the fork has been cancelled: https://www.forbes.com/sites/ktorpey/2017/11/09/failure-segwit2x-shows-bitcoin-digital-gold-not-paypal/#23a10d612233 Maybe. Also cassowary fails to mention that that stimulus package that unavoidably raised US public debt also kept the US from plunging into an utter fiscal meltdown of a type not seen since the early Great Depression.
Yes, well that's one theory.
