Transfiguring snapshot photos to The New Place.

I will have a mobile phone camera full of beautiful snapshots by the time we have finished our North America travels. I would like to show some to other regulars on this website. How can I publish them on The New Place?

Re: local wildlife.

North America must be prodigious with wildlife Steve. It makes sense here in Canada where they have sensible gun control laws. But given the reputation of the United States for widespread gun ownership (along with the sheer number of trigger-happy morons willing to use them) it is a wonder that the...

I think British Royalty makes.a.good.tourist.attraction. It.gives.free.publicity and.helps.to.fill.up.hotels, restaurants and shops. When British royalty becomes no more useful that then it will be truly time for the country to become a republic. But they contribute to the country's gdp by being a ...

Re: Neverfail's North America notes.

Thanks for ther tips Steve. Speaking of wildlife, I am certain I spotted my first raccoon out of our hostesses' front window whilst we were eating dinner. It only appeared for a few seconds before vanishing into the dense brush opposite across the road. It looked like an over sized cat with a long, ...

Re: local wildlife.

On more than one occasion I have seen deer wander out of nearby bush and munch grass alongside the road - including out front of our hostesses home. Saw one of them this morning marking out his territory by urinating in the gutter out front. I have also been informed that bears sometimes wander int...

Re: Shotgun Wedding

Agreed Neverfail but few jobs are better preparation than being a TV star, think Grace Kelly. Grace Kelly was likely a one-off. The trouble with top actors, movie stars etc is that they tend to become all ego. They end up never knowing when to stop role acting and simply be themselves; and so mutua...

Re: Neverfail's North America notes.

BC''s motto is "Splendor Sine Occasu" or as we say, beautiful British Columbia! They even have that promotional slogan on their motor vehicle licence plates. I wish they would stop harping on the theme and just let the scenery speak for itself. P.S. the people here (and in Alberta) are rather nice ...
