Re: Trump supports letting teachers and coaches carry guns in school

An armed and trained professional was at the scene and didn't stop it. Brave Sir Robin ran away. ("No!") Bravely ran away away. ("I didn't!") When danger reared it's ugly head, He bravely turned his tail and fled. ("I never!") Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about And gallantly he chickened out. ("You'...

Re: Australian Minister explains where the HIGHEST gun deaths occurred…and it’s not in America

The right to own a lethal firearm implies the right to use it. Indeed, and they're used all the time -- as deterrence without any shots being fired. That's by far the most common use for firearms in the U.S. But I suppose discussion of such legitimate uses isn't fodder for foreigners to engage in c...

Re: Trudeau's India trip is a total disaster...

Thanks Milo! Luckily, in the global context Canada and India are not all that important to one another. Both have bigger fish to fry closer to home. Just imagine if Justin Trudeau were to make a similar hash out of an official visit to a country of much greater importance to Canada such as the USA....

Re: Bones found in Mexican cave

Whilst the Aztecs and other Mexican city-states had attained only the age of ductile metals (copper, silver, copper) by the time the Spanish arrived and therefore fell short of the bronze age peak attained in Peru and Bolivia; it still put them way ahead of our Australian aboriginals. The Mesoameri...
