Re: ISIS on the run under Trump

The U.S. hadn't won at the end of Bush's administration. If you have to leave a large occupying force in place to prevent everything you did from disintegrating, you haven't won yet, no matter how many self-fellating MISSION ACCOMPLISHED banners you hang up. http://www.history.com/s3static/video-th...

Re: Economic Freedom and Economic Growth

One can only hope. But when even the Republicans, the supposedly pro-market party, show time and time again that they're simply interested in crony corporatism rather than actual free enterprise, there's little hope for the U.S. economy to break out of being stalled.

Re: Russian Sense of Humour

The point is that Russia is capable of answering its critics by making them look foolish, rather than by being aggressive. Re: Catalonian Independence?!

It is time to call out the Spanish oppression of Catalonia. Spain has milked the industrious Catalans and repressed their legitimate rights. Re: Porky the Pig Weinstein caught on tape

Twitter, in my view, is alive only because many celebrities find it useful. It burns cash, with no plan to get profitable, and it doesn't even make up for it with volume. Some 80% of users try it and leave it, it's overall numbers are pathetic too; you know it's bad when you are beat out by LinkedI...
