Constitutions aren't holy writ, and Spain's borders as they are now are an accident of history and conquest. If Catalonians have had enough of being in service to their "fellow" Spaniards, then they should keep agitating until they are free of them.

With less military spending, maybe there would be money to revive the economy... But I guess performing genocide in North Korea or bombing civilians in Syria is the right way to fuflfill "America First!..." Why do you guys in the US put up with this? The article you link to explains that figure is due to infant mortality. Adjusting for that, hunter-gatherers live what we would consider a reasonable lifespan.
